“Who touched me?” Jesus asked. The scriptures reveal her plight, “And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse” (Mark 5:25-26).

Having heard of Jesus and His miraculous works, she believed that just one touch of His garment would be sufficient to heal her. Such was her conviction that amidst the jostling crowd, she reached out, her fingers brushing the hem of Jesus’ robe. That very instant, her affliction ceased. As Mark 5:29 states, “Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.”
